For The Portland Art Museum's SHINE A LIGHT event, I worked with Laurel Kurtz and professional Astrologer Miranda Celeste to create a walking astrological tour of pieces in the Portland Art Museum. Visitors were also given one on one readings on how "compatible" they were to certain pieces. Miranda Celeste was a thoughtful and interesting tour guide as she pointed out aspects of pieces in the PAM collection that exemplified archetypal qualities of signs from the Zodiac. Small signs were made for these pieces throughout the modern wing of the museum, with zodiac symbols that could be referenced to a booklet that was distributed at the PAM table. Buttons were also given away to draw attention to astrological signs of visitors of the museum.
